Time Capsule 2011

On March 29, 2011 a committee was formed and met to discuss the placement of a time capsule in the press box at the high school football field. Individuals in attendance at this initial meeting included members of the community, Ledgemont Boosters, and school district representatives. Topics of discussion included the possible contents of the capsule, its constriction and when it would be opened. Many suggestions were made but no final decisions have been agreed on. A tentative date for placing the time capsule was set for the second home football game on Friday, September 9th, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. Another meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 7th, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Elementary Library. Anyone interested in contributing ideas is invited to attend.
